My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
So - Autosteer was available on both Gen1 and Gen2 prior to "autonomy+" rolling out. Are we keeping hands-free lane centering when the trial of Autonomy+ disappears in April? A simple reversion to previous state, or are we losing a feature available on <waves hand broadly at all cars> unless we fork over $50/mo?

(yes, I'm salty. just hoping for what I believe is the "correct" answer)

Already covered. HA is part of Driver+ and will stay for Gen 1 and RAP on Gen 2.

Either laughter, with ambiguous question mark at the end, or ... highway assist.

HA was what we had on pre-mapped roads, which was for Gen 1 and Gen 2. Gen 1 originally had Driver+, and Gen 2 moved to Autonomy+. This kind of splits the difference.

The hope is that HA is the fallback for Gen2 people who aren't interested in unmapped autonomy or point-to-point driving (like me).

Close. Driver+ is to Gen 1 as RAP (Rivian Autonomy Platform) is to Gen 2. Autonomy+ is a paid add-on to RAP.
