Last night I decided to do a quick wash before the sun went down. Put it in the new car wash mode so the charge door didn’t open on me. Turns out it’s probably for staying inside the car.

when I was done, the car would lock and unlock with my fob, but the door handles wouldn’t come out. After a quick freak out from me, I remembered I could roll down the windows with the unlock button. That worked and I was able to get in the car with the interior door handle. Turned off wash mode and I was back to normal.

I could be mistaken but can't you get the door handles to pop out manually by pushing in on the end?

that's not normal behavior. I use car wash mode all the time for manual washes and have not seen this.

Weird. Well thanks for letting me know. I guess I’ll try again and see what happens.

Push the detent part of the handle in and then pull on the part of handle that comes out like you normally would. The door open mechanism works just fine if the truck is unlocked with the handles recessed.

Of course I did! Haha.
Don't worry... my wife can't help herself. Sometimes I think it is out of spite, but one look at her face as it rolls down and I know she is just as mad about it. Worse part is, she drives 100% of the time with the windows up and A/C on.
