Just wondering if anyone knows from any of the Employee Customers if they received any notification that their R1T was going into production before they actually received their truck? I think if Rivian were to actually inform customers they were getting ready to start producing their order/vehicle it would settle a bunch of nerves in regards to order deadlines (especially ones they say are still coming in NOV and DEC). I would have to assume they would notify when they are going to start producing vehicles to non employee customers so they can make necessary accommodations to sell/trade in existing car, arrange financing, arrange at home charging setup, etc.... I can't imagine they would give you an order deadline three months out and then all of the sudden let you know your truck is ready. Surprise!!!
And if they do start production on your vehicle and notify you how long do you think it will take to produce? two weeks? four weeks? six weeks?
Below is a notification I pulled from Instagram as it looks like the new Broncos are starting to get manufactured and delivered.
