A different point of view while sitting in two very comfy lawn chairs in the bed of our R1T, watching the sun go down behind the Blue Ridge Mountains, the orange and gold light blanketing the rolling northwestern Virginia fields of a county park where well over 1,000 cars and trucks of all shapes and sizes were parked in orderly rows as mobs of families, friends , and relatives excitedly

waited for the local (and highly popular) fireworks to begin.

I also captured a rainbow behind the truck as the sun's final rays hit a rain cloud heading off to bother some other part of the countryside. Also snapped a shot of the American flag "swag" neatly attached to our dropped tailgate.

Needless to say - we had the best seats in the house for the fireworks.
