Bethel Tesla chargers

Re. Bethel, Maine Tesla level 3 chargers: listed as multiple available but "incompatible" with Rivian's (?). No similar label such as "needs adapter". Anyone understand why certain Tesla chargers are "incompatible"? Has anyone used this set of chargers? Driving in norther new england is a challenge.

In general, the supercharger needs to be a v3 or newer to support CCS vehicles.

I've driven past that supercharger a few times, and have wondered the same. It appears this supercharger is a V3. The only thing I can think of is that its a small installation, only 6 stalls. Tesla must have data that suggests it doesn't have capacity there to support non-Tesla vehicles (weekend ski traffic during the winter, for example).

There is a new-ish DCFC up the road in Rumford I used a few months back that worked well. It's an EV Connect up to 180kW.

Not all Tesla Level 3 superchargers are compatible with non-Tesla vehicles. V1 and V2, specifically, are not compatible. Also, some V3s, if they have not been updated. As such, they should not appear on the in-vehicle map nor in the Tesla app under "Charge your other EV."

has anyone been part of the process to approach Tesla and ask for a change of availability. I contacted the Bethel Tourism Board and town manager who were both willing to help, but did not know the contact at Tesla or the process involved. thoughts?

Ya, not compatible, Sunday river is one of the only places around here I get a little nervous making the trip back and forth.
