Yes, I’ve noticed those two issues as well. Also, has anyone else noticed that when playing music from your iPhone via Bluetooth in your R1T or R1S, that one of the stereo channels doesn’t come through? That it’s just not balanced?
Try a soft reset of the infotainment to get your other channel back.
The whole system of entertainment when your on an "adventure" (with no LTE) in this truck is very poorly thought out and executed. Really hoping that when we have to start paying for LTE that something far superior is introduced as an option. Otherwise, I'm grabbing my pitchfork.

I heard that there was once this thing called "USB-playback" which allowed users to directly connect a USB device to the sound system. Yes, an actual connection. In theory, this would eliminate the latency between album art and corresponding tracks, provide power for the device, and reduce instances of lost connections/dropped channels. It's a wild idea, but hoping it comes to fruition.

Not to mention FAR better sound than the current BT offering.

It appears the latest OTA update fixed the issue of tracks not showing on the display. That is good. However, individual tracks still cannot be touched on the screen to play them.
