This is my $0.02 worth of nonsense :D

We've been thinking about our next round of replacement vehicles. Currently we have a Tesla M3P and a Wrangler 4xe (PHEV).

As of right now, from my perspective, "safe" combinations are:

ICE/PHEV + non-Tesla BEV

or

Tesla + non-Tesla (both BEVs)

I guess my point being: you've got both options :) For me, the Tesla has become the new ICE in terms of road trip charging availability - to be clear, yeah, I realize it's still very small vs. the gas infrastructure, but it's good enough where I'm not all that worried. With other EVs? Still enough anxiety, I'd prefer to have a second option.

In your place? I'd go 2 x EVs since you have an MYP.

We "already" are an all EV household, We have the Rivian, and a Tesla M3LR. I agree I would be more anxious if we didn't have the supercharger network. Rivian is turning more into the "fun" vehicle where the Tesla is the fun but practical vehicle.

Our son also bought the Leaf since gas prices at the time were crazy high.

We got rid of two cars to get the Rivian, a 1997 Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke (fun but expensive to maintain) and our first foray into EV's, the Hyundai Ioniq electric (Not Ioniq 5). Being an all EV household has not been a problem, noted that one of them is a Tesla.

I'm waiting on an aftermarket tonneau, but I wasn't willing to delay getting the Rivian over an accessory. None of my past trucks came with covers. I also have an ICE that the Rivian is replacing. The Tesla is staying for sure. We don't miss gas stations.

Exactly. My frunk trunk is not closing and it's a 2-month wait for a service appointment.
The same happened to me today after taking the truck through a high end car wash. No appointments till May. Can open and close Frunk in manual mode only. You have to disable to the power frunk option in settings if you want to close the frunk. Did infotainment soft and hard reset without success. Spoke to roadside assistance and they went through steps as well. I did get a notice for a software update today, so I will do that and attempt it again. Hopefully, it will straighten itself out. Will report back later.
Good luck,
