Do you Cali folks notice this on a daily basis? I recall how much more clean our air was during Covid.

The study was 2013-2019, pre-pandemic. it would be more telling 2020-2021, then the 2022 data to see if there any swings. It would be really hard to parse out ER asthma visits during the pandemic because every ailment was listed as Covid, Covid related or Covid symptom. Not trying to be political, but the data will be hard to sift through.

I've noticed it for years. EV's are certainly helping, but it started prior to that. CA has always had the strictest emissions laws in the country. Gas cars run much cleaner than they once did. I remember in the 80's, driving over the hill into the city and literally seeing a black cloud hanging over the city. It was bad. That's been gone for a long time now. But absolutely, EV's will reduce emissions even more.
