Got mine reinstated with the same price as before but I don’t see an option to add hooks for $300 to the Explore R1S. I only see of road package for $1700. Other options and pricing are mainly the same as before. Deposit refunded. No email yet.

If you cancelled and made the request to reinstate your order already, then your original place in line is restored with your original order pricing being restored. So, you keep your original place in line. Like the price change, cancellations, etc, never happened. Other than there have been a couple of minor changes that have to be manually added back to the order, if you want them (tonneau, underbody shield, apparently tow hooks). The rest of the items remained the same, at the same prices as my original order.

Besure, if you're one that had cancelled your order and wanted it re-instated, that you either, get a live chat going with Rivian, or send them an e-mail to request that you want or prior order / reservation re-instated after reading about Rivian's decision to revert back to pre-March 1st pricing. If you haven't done either, the account will not restore automatically. Must be requested first.

Same as most others here—logged in yesterday evening as part of my OMGISITBACKYETCOMEONPLEASEBETHERE routine, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was indeed there. A while later, I got the generic "welcome" email. Very glad (and relieved) to be back in the queue.

Also, neat that it shows up in the app. Can't do anything at all, but at least there's something there now.

Yeah, especially considering a Model Y long range is now $63K ish. 66.7 is too little for what you are getting IMO.

Rivian gave up a billion dollars rolling back the price hike. That concerns me.

Rivian may have been better off using a 3rd party to assemble the R1T. The Fisker Ocean is being manufactured by Magna-Steyr at a carbon-neutral factory in Graz, Austria

I think the r1t would have been subject to the chicken tax.

And they don't want to be fabless obviously.

Yes it would. The 25% chicken tax tariff on imported pickup trucks is a HUGE deterrent. The Fisker Ocean is an SUV so it’s exempt.

The Explore is $2500 cheaper. It was $72500 now $70000 and I don’t understand why.
