Recirc is not a new thing, n
So, one thing someone brought up a couple weeks ago on this same subject was that even in manual mode, the HVAC will still kick back and forth between external air and recirculating periodically.
Yeah, recirc is not new, nor is concern about CO2 concentration in small, sealed-up spaces. Also, I suspect if people are driving past a sewage plant or cattle farm, they may be quite upset if they set recirc and suddenly it starts drawing in putrid air from the outside.

And what happens if you leave your climate off entirely? Surely the CO2 concentration will rise then as well? Should the fan kick in occasionally and draw in outside air when off? Does it do that now? I'm pretty sure my manual-climate Impreza and Corollas never do that (but they're probably not sealed as well/tight either).

Need to do the test on all vehicles, particularly ICE. If it is a recirculation problem, then it may be an issue will all vehicles. No discussion on the potential sources other than recirculation. Best advice? Crack a window.

And just how many people have died in Rivians from CO2 poisoning exactly?
Have run my R1S on Auto climate forever.

And from Facebook. Seriously!!!!?

Is it just I, or is today sensationalism day in the Rivian world?
