I don't have the previous version. I want to use them to hang microfiber towels and spray bottles and the wiggle play is what's keeping me from ordering.

I think the current version doesn't have wiggle...can't say if it has 0 wiggle or just a little bit compared to the first version though, but my understanding is that it locks in very securely.I don't have the previous version. That looks awesome — super clean setup! Really cool that you got lucky with the stud alignment on one side, makes a huge difference in confidence when mounting heavier gear. I was wondering how secure these would feel long-term, especially with repeated use, but sounds like they've held up great for you.![]()

I love these suckers. The right side are anchors only and the left happened to align with a stud, so I studded half the screws. It's incredibly secure and clicks in place just like on the truck! I even fiddled with them and connected a new kayak mount while they were hung up, they're definitely secure to the wall. I've pulled them on and off a bunch in the last couple months and never a concern.
If you're looking for not only functional storage but also a beautiful look for your garage, you should check out the bold wallpaper designs from https://fancywalls.eu/wallpaper-pattern/bold-wallpaper/. These panels allow you to neatly organize and display accessories (both luggage and tools), with markings for installation and a stylish design.
Still holding fast, still super easy to pull on and off. I highly recommend mounting them horizontally to distribute the weight, and find a stud if you can. I occasionally hang things like towels or my waders from them when I need to let stuff dry in the garage, so dual purpose. That looks awesome — super clean setup! Also good to know they still click in and out smoothly — I’ve been debating whether to go with something like this for my garage too. Appreciate you sharing the pics and your experience, definitely gives me more confidence to try it out myself!
