Actually the ceiling mounted unit looks great. I would add a strain relief to the cable where the weight of the hanger no cable stress’s the conductors. Something like the attached ( Chinese finger style)

I like your outside-the-box thinking. Search for raceways like these, but larger, to hide the cabling. I ran shop lighting in my garage and they really make things look cleaner. You can even paint them to match your celing/walls.

Thanks. The coil at the top from the original pics is still in place so that solves the main strain concern and the last ceiling hanger is actually pulling at about a 60 degree angle due to the cord strap attached to it and offset mount rather than trying to let it drop at a 90 degree, so that helps a little too. The weight of the cable and connector is less than would think so no real concern with the vertical weight when hanging or connected to vehicle. Any strain relieve efforts are good though.

Thanks, it really did take a lot of thought and planning. Yeah I thought about raceways but could not find anything that looked much better or was not pricey in my searching. Really wanted to route it up into the attic after the ceiling charger mount and then dropping it back down but that is a bit more involved and more strain concerns as gets a few feet higher to add strain relieve in the attic too the way I did it. I think the garage door tracks and other stuff in garage are even uglier so called it good going across ceiling as I never look up at it haha but still looks it does not look bad either.
