2 weeks ago, we had deeply cold weather (-21c) at an rbnb without a possibility to charge nearby and my wife left the r1s passenger door slightly opened (the first click i guess) without me knowing. This made the climate control stay on with the battery at 15.6% after our arrival at destination initially. About 2 h later after putting the kids to bed, the battery was only at 12.6 % when i decided to move the r1s to a supercharger and realised the issue when putting to drive and having the "warning door open" message. it hit me that the car was warm inside. though not an apparent big drain, If i had waited untill the next morning, we would have been stuck with zero energy in the battery. The closest supercharger was 5 miles away.
Can a timeout be added to the climate control system for such event to prevent being stuck with no energy? I had no warning on my phone or else.
This is not a trivial issue with little kids and distracted passengers.

am i the only one encountering this kind of situation?
