The whole mirror is convex and you'll love it. Instead of having two fields of view, you only have one.

It seems like this would be terrible at night, getting everyone's headlights beaming back to your eyes. And with the removal of the self-dimming glass on the stock mirrors, it would be even worse.

Well, that’s your thoughts, however, I think it is just a bad guess. The wider view - night or day - should provide a significant improvement in safety.

Saw these in person. Not Rivian, of course. Actually quite nice. Look very OEM and image is actually very good.

Great question! SUMA mirrors are coated with anti-glare to reduce glare.
