Cloudy backup camera

I live in Colorado and the roads are most always dirt and slush. I called Rivian Support and asked if there was a hack to prevent the rear camera from instant dirt/water film that we are all plagued with. Typical response: wipe your camera with a micro cloth! DUH! Where does HR get these people? I'm thinking about a wind deflector. Any thoughts. Same thing happens on the front facing camera even in the fog or rain. Safe adventures.

They should replace it, no issue.

I’m the original poster. I’ve had 2 cameras replaced now for water in the lens. It took longer than expected for both because water traveled up and rusted the wiring harness.
I asked them if there was a lack of sealant somewhere and they said no just bad batches of cameras.

I am trying to accelerate my service center visit. Ugh!
Hoping your Rivian has otherwise been perfect. Mine has been pretty closes after some very early squawks.

I have the same complaint about water and dirt build up on the lens. The other vehicles that we own do not have the same issue. ( we routinely clean dirt off the lenses, not water )If it is raining, I can not rely on the backup camera, and I live in Vancouver, Canada. It rains here. I am considering to make a deflector of some sort.
Any ideas out there?

Same issue here. Soonest service appointment is 4 months away. Grrrrrrr.
