Thanks. I was initially infatuated by Borealis until my wife cured me of that (and I have yet to see one in person). At our Demo drives we were initially struck by Half Moon Grey, but then Catalina Cove appeared more sporty and fun in the sun. I think early adopters are mostly Day One Res enthusiasts willing to pay the "obscene" $2,000 upchange for CC (as we are). Will be interesting see what the Average SUV Bears go for when their reservations are called.

No, Mathme, the configurator says Coastal Cloud will be "available in August," and the thread shows several of us have been "teased" with an email stating Coastal Cloud is headed for production and next contact will be a VIN. Fingers crossed.

One more thing we have yet to point out: Rivian contacted us via email to say Coastal Cloud is going into production and asked us add $400 to our deposit to gain a spot in the producti8n line. So, I am assuming the people in the thread paid that $400 as we did.

I may have "requested" that build. I did configurate that build. Then, on Aug. 3, I got this:

Yes. As of Tuesday many of us (myself included) received an email that allowed us to place our order with a coastal cloud interior, requiring a $400 deposit.

So, I also am unable to place my order. I got the email telling me my time has arrived but when I try to place an order with Coastal Cloud I am told it is not yet available but I am “on the list”
