Connect+ plus and "vehicle recovery" system?

My insurance carrier is asking me if my Rivian has a vehicle recovery system ( like Onstar or Lojack) that has an active subscription. Because I can always find the vehicle in the app I presume the answer is yes-- but it is just part of the vehicle and not a subscription. Will that disappear if I don't opt in to connect plus?

You can still locate your vehicle without a subscription. You should also still be able to use a service like ElectraFi to see where it has been.

One thing OnStar and Lojack can do is disable the vehicle though which may be a requirement from the insurer. I am not sure if Rivian can remotely disable a vehicle on not.
