Connecting Amazon Prime music?

I'm a amazon prime member and have lots of their music on my iphone. It comes with their membership dues.
How do I connect this with my R1T? I tried but Alexa keeps asking me if I want to sign up for a 30 day free trial.

Sign in to your Amazon account in the truck. Then ask Alexa to play songs on Amazon Music.

Are you new to Alexa? The truck works just the same as other Alexa devices. Set your default music app in the "Amazon Alexa" app to Amazon music and it'll default in the truck then.

You could ask "Alexa, play blah on Amazon Music" but if you set your defaults you don't need to specify.

This is an old thread but anyone have issues with theirs and may know why this isn’t working in my vehicle? I have everything paired, Alexa in the Rivian says it’s going to play the song I request and it doesn’t. The Rivian shows up on the Alexa app under devices.

This is an issue with the most recent update. Clear notifications and then do an infotainment reset.

After this last update I have to reset then reset the system pretty much before every drive to get it to work. Had been good till now. Waiting till the next update when hopefully it makes a return.
