I took delivery a few months ago and at about 3000 miles. For the past several months whenever driving, i hear this constant motor running that sounds like its coming from behind the cab and under the body. It runs nearly all of the time. WHen i park it sometimes stops, but then starts again when I lock. I thought it might be air ride, but have isolated that when i adjust air ride its not related. I do have a power tonneau, but mine is still working as expected (for now...) and its clear there is a different motor being engaged for that.

anyone else experiencing this? i have an open ticket but a little worried about the triaging at the service center.

thanks in advance.

Would that be your air compressor motor? It maintains pressure and auto starts/stops as necessary.

If your suspension has an air leak, it would cause the compressor to run excessively and at times you otherwise might expect that it would not. Not saying you have a leak but something to consider if this noise does turn out to be the air compressor for the suspension.

Do you have left the sliding hatch open to the gear tunnel? I left mine open last week and could hear a lot more noises.
