Hi all, so I like most of you love my truck. I have a 2024 R1T dual non-performance max pack.
It’s been in the shop quite a bit however - mostly for a rear motor issue that involved the rear motor seemingly not disengaging and causing a ‘ratcheting’ or chugging sound while driving in all purpose (the screen showing the rear motor disengaged). When I come to a stop or hit sport mode/all piurpose, I can get it to ‘clank clank clank’ and then disengage.
This went on for a long time and got worse with very harsh disengagements. Rivian finally replaced my rear motor and I thought I was done. It’s been good for 4 months or so. Well - it’s now back. Efficiency plummeted so I can only assume the rear motor is dragging when it thinks it’s disengaged. What could cause this specific to my truck twice now?
