Contact Sync from iPhone - Am I missing something?

I have contact sync turned on for my iPhone but only a handful of my contacts are showing up - I have thousands. For example, my wife isn't even showing up in the contacts. Also, when people call the number comes up instead of the name. Is there a secret to syncing contacts other than simply turning on the contract sync question?

If you go to Bluetooth settings on your phone, hit the info button on the device associated with the truck for phone use. Below the Sync Contacts toggle you should see a list of contact groups. You may only have recent calls or something selected. Note, not sure how it works for the truck specifically, just a general contact sync list.

Weird. Wonder if Rivian has a limit on how many contacts they'll sync and it's just truncating the list. I made a separate group for contacts I wanted to make sure were synced because I only cared about a small subset. Not sure if you're in that position, but worth a try.

Well if you only have 1 contact in there it better be your wife. This won't work Rivian!

I’m not seeing this issue. IOS 16.4 and iPhone 14 pro max. R1S 2023.10.2

I see the recent calls on the top, I see the pictures associated with my contacts, I see my favorites when I look for them. They are in alphabetical order based on first name, seems like single line per letter and have to scroll to the right to see the ones further down.

Also seeing only recent on top and the whole list of contact below in alphabetical order. Logically on the left side where the dial pad is should be a tab for Favourite from your phone.
Is this a design flaw? Seems like a silly miss since most people use Favorites
