Correct Tire Pressure PSI?

When I picked up my 2025 R1T in June, the tires were all at 44 psi. I just had the TPS tell me that I had a low tire (36) and to fill it to 48. The sticker on the door says 48. When I filled it and it reached 44, the low tire indicator went off. Should I use 44 or 48? Thanks.

What tires are installed? If you have factory tires inflate to 48 psi when the tires are cold.

48 but tbh anything from 44-48 is fine, especially whilst temps are good. Keep an eye out in winter.

44 may just be the bottom number where an alert happens. Even when they don’t leak, tires vary in pressure with change in temperature and having a range of acceptable pressures prevents a lot of faalse alarms.

Well, I learned something today. Such a simple method that I had never heard of. I’ll have to try it.

Fully loaded 48+. 44 s/b fine lightly loaded and the ride is preferable to you.
I prefer to keep my tires on the high side. For most people best to stay with the door sticker.

To get really technical put the truck on a scale and use the tire inflation chart.

Only one dropped to 36? This would indicate a leak. Keep a close watch on it.
