Echoing others, weather has a huge impact. We drove in a lot of rain and snow this weekend, the rain make the truck think there was a random car overtaking and would hit brakes, the snow would cover up the radar on the front clip and NO cruise control was available... Adaptive Cruise Control is cool, but I think we should be able to do regular Cruise Control without adaptive.

Am I missing a setting, button, or feature to turn off ACC and maintain regular CC?
Tow mode will do that for you, but there are other changes that get made as well.

I, too, would love a regular cruise option.

After three hours of no progress on the software update I called service. They were of no help. I told them that my truck was basically dead and to please escalate my problem and call me back with a solution within an hour so that I could go to work in the morning.

The truck kept cycling between "Preparing Update" and "Installing" just like when the tech was at my house. The only way the tech was able to break the cycle was to do a 12v disconnect reset. I was not comfortable doing that on my own. I tried to do the "Hazard-Left Button Restart" several times. Every time the truck went back to the "Installing" screen. I was finally able to break the cycle and get the update to stop trying to install. I'm not sure if I just got lucky or if unplugging all things in the truck(including the camp speaker) helped.

Service called me back and offered to get me a rental. I'm not sure how the logistics of that were going to work at 10pm. I told them that I was able to restart the truck and the rental car wasn't necessary.

I keep getting the sense that the biggest problem that this company has is communication. Both customer facing and internal. I had talked to the regional service manager earlier in the day. We had set up a service appointment for my truck the following week at the service center in Richmond. Then I get the call later in the day to do the software update(Maybe I should have mentioned my earlier conversation with the regional service manager before proceeding). I don't think there is any communication between the people involved in fixing things.

Lesson Learned. I will let them try to fix it at the Service Center while driving a loaner/rental.
