Just posting bc I thought this was a weird issue so this thread can come up if someone else ever has similar issue.
I have had an R1T for a few years, love it! Just bough my wife a used R1S yesterday.
On the way home on a 300 mile trip, the first time I stopped, when I got back in the car it was a little wonky. The map system wouldn't work - a screen from Google Maps kept popping up that I needed to "accept" it's terms. It wouldn't let me click "accept". The outside temperature gauge was stuck at 0 degrees. The screen brightness wouldn't get any brighter from the lowest setting (bar would slide, but screen brightness wouldn't change). The driver's display wouldn't show the actual mileage left or a percentage, just the green battery (despite me clicking to show mileage in the settings). Everything else worked seemingly fine and I could drive the vehicle fine. Except when I went to throw on cruise control it defaulted to 130 MPH!! Except the cruise control never actually engaged at all, it just looked like it did, then when I took my foot off the gas the car slowed down like cruise was not actually engaged.
I pulled over, did a soft reset - nothing. Hard reset - nothing. Then I went into the settings, selected reset user data and settings (or whatever that option is actually called), and that cleared things right up and 0 issues since over the next 400 miles. I'm assuming there were some sort of issues with my "pending" user profile bc I haven't been granted ownership transfer yet through the app.
Only other slight "issue" is that the tires are loud as hell - they're the Pirelli ATs, pretty nobby. Car has 20k miles on it, I assume the tires are original, they have solid tread but are loud as hell. The car drives very smooth though and no steering wheel vibration or pulling or anything. I assume just loud AT tires. Gonna get new ones in the spring (any recs for good all seasons with little road noise?) THanks!
