What an exciting first year it’s been for Atomic Wheels.

It’s been a challenging journey, but we’ve managed to grow steadily and establish ourselves as a great alternative for Rivian aftermarket wheels. One of our main goals is for every customer to be satisfied and to have the rim they want. That’s why, with our custom orders, we aim to provide exactly what each customer desires, with every detail tailored to his needs.

And precisely, to share with you the work we've been doing, we've decided to create a special thread to showcase our custom orders. We’ll be sharing information, photos, and more details about the process. So, join us!

During Atomic Wheels' first-year journey, we were thrilled to receive our first Rivian custom order because, although we had done it for other brands, it was the first time we were going to work with Rivian.It was a special model with unique specifications and a color that added a personal touch of authenticity.

After exchanging messages with the customer to understand their needs, we began the process of designing the 3D renders for his approval. Once he gave us the green light, we started the manufacturing process. Just 56 days later, the rims were delivered—exactly as requested, with the custom copper color and the AW logo on the center cap. Delivered straight to his door!

It was a great first experience with Rivian custom orders, and since then, we’ve had more customers, new challenges, and even more exciting designs.So, what are you waiting for? Get the rims you’ve been dreaming of and join the fun!

Just to clarify, the first 3 images are renderings? The last 4 are actual images (3 of the wheel and 1 installed)?

Is that a texture/knurlish feature on the wheel barrel? Can we see a closeup of it?

Our idea is to try to make it so that everyone can have the rims they dream of, of the highest quality, without breaking the bank.

And yes, that's basically the process: first, there are the photos of the 3D model renders, those are the ones you approve, and then the necessary modifications are made. Once they are finished, photos are sent to you, and finally, it's the installed product.

It's a knurling which prevents tire slippage. And, of course, we have detailed photos of our rims here.

Some designs and custom projects require extra effort when aiming for perfection — but we have the best team in place to make it happen. No matter what you're looking for or how detailed your custom order may be, we’ll bring it to life. It doesn’t matter how many revisions it takes — we’re always willing to refine and adjust even the smallest detail to make sure everything turns out exactly the way you want.

Changes can be made to any detail you’d like during the render process — from the color and center cap logo to the specs (except for the diameter) if you’re looking for something more aggressive.

Every change is made with the customer’s approval — every detail is refined until it matches exactly what they want. We always maintain close communication and provide the best possible information to keep the customer fully informed throughout the entire process.

Once everything has been finalized and approved by the customer, we begin the manufacturing process — nearly 20 days of building everything from scratch. Each piece is crafted with maximum precision using CNC machines to ensure a perfect, made-to-measure fit. And finally… voilà! The wheels are complete!

A final inspection is carried out to ensure there are no defects in the manufacturing process — and just like that, they’re ready. After multiple reviews, emails, and calls, the wheels are exactly as the customer envisioned them — and now they’re getting prepped to ship straight to your doorstep!

But without a doubt, the best part is when we finally receive photos from our customers — and we get the pleasure of sharing them with you, to inspire you as well.
