Curious how much your monthly Tesla marketing check is? No way you do this for free

I retired 25 years ago. But I'm always happy to share things in life that I'm interested in and that make me happy. I earn exactly $0.00 from this. Tesla doesn't spend a lot of money on marketing because they know that, ultimately, their customers would be footing the bill. Advertising adds zero value to purchasers of new cars. They can learn all they need to know without watching slick ads.

There is so much hate in the world, I would like to turn it around in any small way that I can.

I’ve now had three cyber truck sightings here in OC and I’m sorry but they are frickin’ ugly… that’s it, carry on

I just got my R1S and took to get tint and ceramic. Pulled in and there was a CT waiting to get wrapped. Beauty of course is subjective, in my eyes the CT was butt ugly. Cudo’s for it being original though. I’ll do a separate post on my R1S when I get it back Thursday. I will say it was delivered with no issues.

They may be ugly, but if you believe the CT Owners Forum, they also behave like late 90s PCs — blue screen of death popping up all the time. Guys with a full 72 miles on the odo trying to get their truck safely to a stop with steer by wire shutting down.

I’d been skimming that forum every now and then and actually thought the Ctruck was performing pretty well other than range and looks. But this week every other thread is BSOD hard stop. In terms of people who’d previously told the forum they had a ct, it’s apparently 2 in 150.

In one of the threads I was referring to, someone asked whether this was the original poster. It was not, so apparently they've had two such incidents in the limited number of CTs they've delivered - with power steering and power brakes going out. The initial thread involved a garaged vehicle. Not clear whether this tweet meant while driving or merely "on the road" but when trying to restart the car away from home..

I saw this. Its obvious that Tesla does its beta and road testing with end consumers. One of the reasons I'll never own one again.

What a weird write-up

Here's my write-up. The more I see the CT the worse it looks. Elon's admission that they dug their own grave was probably the most honest thing out of his mouth in the last year.

Another CT total shutdown just posted at the CT owners forum. Instead of BSOD, they’re really RedSNoR — the red screen of no redundancy, forcing shut-down.

I have yet to see a Cybertruck in person yet. I do think that it is much better looking in black than the brushed stainless steel. I especially like the photo of the silver dumpster that has similar styling as the cybertruck.
