So I was in D.C. and over the past couple days, I was seeing R1Ts with the DC flag on it. I couldn't tell if it was the same truck or an actual small fleet hanging around, but I saw another gas truck in the same white with the same markings except there was one additional sticker that helped me pinpoint who the trucks belonged to. So it looks like the Department of Transportation has a few EV Trucks (or the same truck with two different drivers) in their fleet. I ran into a R1T several times over the past few days and took pictures each time.

This would be surprising if true, given the extreme prejudice the current administration has against EVs (or anything else that could be considered politically progressive and actually good for the environment/economy/people)!

Possibly a contractor that does government contracts already?

I mean, wasn't one of the first dumdum things they did literally eliminate all of the (already paid for by our tax dollars mind you) government EV charging stations?

DC is not necessarily controlled by the federal government (yet), so they can mostly run the city however they like, despite the constant whining of Cheetolini.

The slogan on their license plates is "taxation without representation" because they still need congressional approval of their budget despite not being represented in congress.

My understanding is that they have quite a few of them, or will shortly have quite a few.
