The dead pedal on my R1T shipped with tons of fragments of protective plastic that are very difficult to remove - thin plastic and lots of adhesive. The delivery team obviously couldn’t get it off either.
This has been there for 20,000 miles and I just got around to the milder goo gone and a synthetic brush and it hardly budged. Trim pulling tool didn’t help much either.
Am I the only one who had this? Im afraid to use a more potent solvent based adhesive remover in fear of discoloring the plastic.

+1 for a steam cleaner. They work great for adhesive.

You could try using a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the adhesive for easier removal. Would be interested in the solution you found to be the best.

Thanks for the input. Here's what I used. Steamer and trim tool to remove plastic. Mild citrus type Goo Gone for remaining glue. I avoided the stronger solvent based adhesive removers (like Goof Off in a metal can) for fear of discoloring the plastic.
