Dallas or Atlanta would have a bigger impact, but that would require Rivian to acknowledge that the South exists.

While I live in Colorado now, I am originally from south Mississippi. If I was driving around the Biloxi area in a Rivian I'd be scared I'd get run off the road by some coal rolling jerk and then have my body tossed into the Gulf of Mexico.

This seems to be right. I live less than 3 miles from the service center and have not had any contact regarding a test drive, but I am a late '21 R1S order.

Ask customer service nicely. Often.

If you need to drive your Rivian back to MS you can always buy a set of these and rig them in your truck bed to act as camouflage.

No invites for me yet either. Fingers crossed we'll see something soon. I'm hoping for a setup like the Sonoma event where you can see multiple vehicles and drive with an appointment. But who knows.

Also, I realized just last week that your daughter and mine are in the same class at school! My daughter was delighted when she watched your Christmas video on YT and recognized her classmate

I'm mid 2020 R1T LE and have not seen any invites either. I live very close to the service center so I don't think that's the defining factor.

My First Mile is tomorrow. If anyone wants me to ask anything specific while I'm there, let me know.
It appears that they added more days/slots since mine was booked so for those that haven't gotten an invite yet, there's still hope!

Separately, over the weekend a guide contacted me about adjusting my drive location. I recently moved from City Park area to a suburb and it was too far from their radius. So I am instead meeting them at the service center and hoping for a tour ?. I also asked if I could adjust my time slot since my SO wasn't available for my original time slot. Within a day they very nicely adjusted it for me so she can now come as well as my dad who lives in Fort Collins.

I'll be sure to report back with any interesting info.

We know there are multiple forum members who live or work very close to the service center, many of whom have early reservations yet haven't heard anything about a drive yet.

Yeah, I think in this instance it was about being able to have enough time to make their other time slots but I'm curious as well. I'm only 20 min away still from the Service Center and a somewhat early LE R1T pre-order but not 2018 early.

I'll be sure to share anything interesting that comes up.

I'm relatively early reservation and basically next door to the service center. I'm also due to take delivery in less than 60 days and really want a test drive before signing on the dotted line. Let them know I'm open to bribery.. Please and thank you.

Ditto. Still nothing. I live in Five Points in the same zip code as the service center. I would be surprised if I was not in the top 5 closest reservation holders to the service center.

CS just says to keep waiting for an invite ... but theoretically I am now a month away from my "April-May" delivery date.
