You and me buddy. I got a chance to use the Rivian version a year ago when it was in development. Winch controls was pretty cool to use cause it was integrated into the vehicle controls.
Thats awesome you got to use the Rivian integrated system! It was a buying point for me and i was bummed when they scrapped it, but by then i was sold on the R1T. Any insight on why they gave up on it? They seemed really close. I'm sure the aftermarket will take care of it, but it sounds like powering the winch may be a bigger issue than mounting.

Love your content. Keep creating and i'll keep consuming. :fist bump:

Thanks for the support!

I believe the winch and other adventure products got out on the shelf to focus on current builds and getting R1T’s out the door.
It was pretty sweet as the winch drew power straight from the battery pack. You could control it from the steering wheel, center display, iPhone, or the key fob!

Would you be willing to share more details on your light bar setup? I'm interested in adding a CHMSL to my tent, and so far the best solution I've found is the trailer hitch connector, which breaks other things like Driver+.
@Dark-Fx - I too would also like to know this. I thought I had read something from you on it but can’t find it now.

I’d love to see Rivian’s solution when it comes but a backup in my pocket would be great.
I'm using a tekonsha zero contact interface module that has current loops on the power to the tail lights. I believe the tail lights might actually use some kind of an electrical communications signal when activated vs just on/off, but I don't know that for sure. The signal for the right and left brake lights is all I am using for my CHMSL. It's not perfect but it seems to work well enough.
