Does anyone have experience with Canvasback door covers?

I keep several dog crates in my SUV I ordered the Canvasback floor cover was also thinking about getting the covers for the rear doors.
My hesitation is I believe they use plastic clips that insert along the window trim/rubber area? Will this damage the seal?
Can you still raise and lower the window with them in place? Another suggestions? really just protecting the doors from scratching if the crate moves a little while driving. ?

I went the very cheap route and it works great. Got two mid-size towels wide enough for rear doors, hooked up 4 suction caps to each with paper clips. They attach to windows perfectly fine and protect the doors quite well.

Sure, still can open windows depending on how high suction cups are positioned on glass.
