Double Charged by Rivian Financial

Got my R1T on March 9. Went to make my first payment today and realized Rivian billed me on March 7 for a car payment so I have two due now and I have a late payment.
Anyone else have any issues with Rivian Financial??

It's run by chase bank. Just call them to resolve it! They should be able to fix it or explain it.

Thanks. It’s actually Rivian Financial you call. If you just call chase they can’t help you. It’s not an explanation i need. Like the headline says I was looking for other people who have had issues.
I paid the first payment in my down payment like everyone does and they also billed me for the first month.
it’s not a positive thing because I’m starting my first month of ownership with a 30 day late payment on my credit.

Sorry I couldn't help more! Just to clarify my earlier post, Rivian financial is chase bank. They just have a partnership with rivian to use their name and branding. So yeah you have to call rivian Financial for help, but your talking to chase.

Yeah the Rivian people at chase have M-F hours. If it was for a credit card I could get someone now.

It’s just super bad timing. I’m fighting Tesla right now because I turned a lease in on Mar 7. And on Mar 18 they extended my lease and turned on auto pay and took a payment and scheduled another for today.
I have two EV companies trying to double dip. At least Rivian didn’t take the money like Tesla did. Teslas response to all of this was that they are super backed up with lease return inspections right now. Basically they lost my car and didn’t realize they had it in a lot for the last month.

Back in the day, I had a reservation for a M3 and decided to put off the purchase. I cancelled my reservation with Tesla, and two weeks later they called and said they were ready to deliver my M3. They were a mess to deal with. And it took months to get my deposit back. Good luck!
