Driver's seat vinyl pulling out from divider, anybody else?

Just went through the car (picked it up Friday last week) to do a minor interior cleaning, just to get acquainted. I noticed this on my driver's seat. The vinyl is pulling down out of that separator decor thingy. Just submitted my service ticket. Just not something I've heard or seen from others in the forums yet. Curious how lucky I am.

I’ve seen one other seat like that and it looks more like a bad cut than pulling out. Almost as if the piece is too small right there to begin with.

Yeah that’s exactly what it appears to be. I’ve submitted a service ticket but it’ll probably be a while before I hear back. I hope they do something to fix it, though

Mine has the same thing on the driver side. Ticket submitted as well. I missed the call but the voice-mail said they had a repair plan about a week ago. Nothing since.

Yup, I experienced the same thing but on the passenger headrest. Submitted a ticket.

Exact same issue, almost the exact same place. The vinyl isn't properly secured right there and it rubs and squeaks whenever I shift my weight on it, which is very annoying. I'm adding it to the punch list of items that will need to be done when it goes in for the roof.

When I checked the passenger side it's very tight, so I think it's either an adhesive or stitching problem and the Vinyl just isn't anchored well to the seat frame.

It might be a pattern cut problem since it's ocurring in the same place for several reports and it's an odd angled cutout. You can thank Hyundai Transys for this failure. It's a bit surprising considering that they have been building seats for a long time. Presumably Rivian has made them aware of this issue and they will fix it s00n for future builds...

Interesting. It looks like all of you folks with this issue have the Forest Edge interior. Is that correct?

I have not seen anything like those photos on my BM seats.

FWI, I have the exact same issue on my BM Front Passenger seat.
