That is very true! We’re thankful to have even gotten the email since we only pulled the trigger on 7/1/21. Much later than the vast majority of others on this forum. Can’t figure out the order they’re doing emails or deliveries in.

We’re also located in western Ellicott City which is about 20 miles from the Rockville, MD RIVIAN location.

I asked CS about these invites and here’s what I was told:

”With these events and invites, we do prioritize preorder holders and also take into account the delivery window estimate, such that those expecting to take delivery sooner are afforded an opportunity. If you haven't received an invite or provided an opportunity as your delivery window nears, we'll do everything we can to prioritize a drive for you”

And heads up to anyone in the D.C. area… CS called me back and they were able to schedule our test drive. They’re bringing a truck out to us on the 29th and they still had a few spots open on the 28th and the 29th available. Might be worth a phone call or chat session to try and grab one!
