First trip out with the Motorcycle! Transported on welded hitch mount carrier

Took the Grunt Evo dirt bike out for the first time with the Rivian. I use a welded Hitch mount carrier and saw no difference in range or efficiency. I love this truck so much! It just keeps impressing. I did not even notice It was on with the power and ride it has. I can not wait for the weather to get better to pull the camp trailer!

How much does the bike weigh? I am considering a similar setup for hauling my KTM.

I did this with my 2017 Ridgeline and a KTM 790 Adventure R.

Definitely pushing the limits of the hitch and the lift hardware, but it was all within bounds and never had any issue with it once you get used to it swaying a bit with bumps and turns.

Haven't tried yet on the Rivian but I'm hoping the tongue weight limits are equal to or better than the Ridgeline.

Bike weight is 285 lbs or 129kg. I did not want to drive with tailgate down so I had this mount made. It weights about 100 lbs. I could do one more bike and be fine.
