Fixed my tonneau !

A Rivian mobile service tech fixed my stuck powered tonneau cover today. The fix: lots of water! After messing a round a little with his computer he asked for a hose and sprayed a ton of water all over the thing. Et voila! Now it works ”as new”. But just to be safe, I’m leaving it open until the promised replacement mechanism is available.

Ours gets stuck when opening occasionally. After some time I noticed that it was happening when the car was sitting out in the sun (South Florida). So I learned to cool it down with water and then it opens fine.
