I just scheduled a service center visit for the alignment, but as you can see from the attached pics our front passenger tire has worn down pretty badly compared to the other 3. What’s the play? Replace the one tire or bite the bullet and replace all 4? Pics attached of all 4.

Edit: 20k miles on them so far, and of course I’d rather replace just one, which appears like it should be doable given the tread left and sipes are still visible on the three others.

Your first picture absolutely looks like an alignment problem. I don't know if you've been rotating, but that would help to reduce uneven wear.

Rotating my tires has not been my strong suit.

Rivian R1T R1S Front Passenger Tire Wear - replace one or all four? 1000003802

I'm going to do my best to not be critical, but I think you already know... That's really really not good.

I recommend:
1. Getting a depth gauge
2. Measuring all tires
3. Replacing the 2 most worn if any 2 have more than 5/32" left
4. Replacing all if 3 or more have 4/32" or less
5. Never ever letting your tires go completely bald on a 6k+ lb vehicle
6. Visually check your tires at least every few thousand miles (literally just glance at them; I have a habit of running my finger across my front driver when I plug in)
7. Rotate and measure depth at least every 7500 miles, better at 5k intervals

Yep - it’s on me for not acting sooner. I don’t drive it often (wife does), and when I finally noticed it a while back I put it on a “to do” list that never got acted on. Will handle in coming days.

Worn on the outside is unusual… bad alignment, or hit a curb at some point. The other tires look close to being toast or maybe it’s the lighting making them look well worn. Others are able to get another 10k out of theirs. Something is not normal here.

Look at the wear bars between tred blocks spaced about every 10”. If the tred is worn down to the tred bar it replacement time. Also, I don’t think you’re supposed to ever replace just one radial tire and that they are best replaced in pairs if not sets. My 2 cents, replace them all and get on a rotation schedule. Rivian will come rotate your tires at your home for a pretty reasonable price and the plus is you can ask the tech questions you may have about other aspects of the truck.

Good suggestion. Earlier today I made an appointment for Saturday and am getting four new Toyo Open Country AT III EV tires. Appt for alignment is about a week out. Will get on a regular rotation schedule.
