I was getting vibration and depression of the hood while driving at high speeds. They said my hood hinges were bent (from factory). They had to send it to a bodyshop to get the hinges painted after being replaced. Took 2 weeks with a crappy rental they provided. All good now.

I would have the service center / mobile tech take a swing….then this is what I would do. I’d apply a little hand pressure to make sure the rubber bumper is actually resting on the stop before shaving some off. My concern would be other seals / issues are at play and the bumper isn’t the culprit.
Agree with this...I would also brush a dot of paint on the end of rubber pad to gauge touch point/pressure. And proceed with Service ticket...

I’m in the service ticket before shaving anything camp. Once you shave something you own it from a service perspective. They are gonna say it’s your fault when you do that.

Were you ever able to figure out any adjustment up front? I have the same issue on one side but scared the SC might cause more issues....haha!

Yeah service took care of it. They said they couldn’t make it perfect without sending it to a body shop but it looks good to me.

First check and make sure the plastic/rubber trim around the frunk is seated correctly.

In all likelihood, the hood is not being sucked down enough at the front center locking device. It is accessible by removing the plastic trim around the front of the trunk well. (pull up with a plastic knife on the left or right side and it pops up). Then look down in the center where the latch buckle of the hood engages. There are two bolts (10mm wrench if I recall correctly). Loosen both and see if you can lower the latch mechanism a tad. A little adjustment goes a long way to level the hood. Retighten and try fit. SC should make this adjustment for you, it just takes a few minutes...

It is unfortunate that many R1s suffer from this issue. Many OEMs have gone to separate left and right latches to be able to perfectly level their aluminum hoods - at this price point the gap adjustment should be much better. Aluminum hoods are not as rigid as steel and should have two latches. All in all, the corners where hood and fenders come together are awkward, it's almost as if the hood is too short. Hope they are doing a better job on the updated R1s.
