Frunk opening height

Just thinking if I’m in a garage at work with low height clearance, will opening the frunk potentially hit the cieling or is there a sensor. Same goes for the trunk.
if I’m to close to garage door or wall will it know, or will there be cosmetic damage.

It will only 'know' by hitting something. And it is very likely that damage will be incurred.

You can stop the opening all the way by pushing the button again (fob button also works the same). You can also stop it from opening all the way with your hands and it will sense the movement is being restricted. If you let it hit a wall or garage door it will stop as well but may leave some damage.
