Stay far away from MyQ. I installed Tailwind and it's been rock solid. The garage door parts are 100% wired so no false positives/negatives. Decent mobile app + HomeKit integration.

Agreed, I also recommend Tailwind, see my message above from a couple weeks ago. It works with Alexa. Only mentioned MyQ, given the low price, if you want to try it, worked ok for me 90% of the time (but occasionally ignored my phone requests to open), for opening/closing from my phone, and sending reminders when the garage door is open.

MyQ is not a good choice if you want native auto open/close or Alexa support. MyQ is worth $20 if you just want reminders, and/or want to open/close from your phone. Its also easier to install.
