Gear Guard missed collision while parked

We don’t know yet if the dash cam would include other views than just front facing from the windshield. Seems like GG would have helped if you weren’t there but no camera would catch more than you did as a witness.

I would hope that, like Tesla, it would capture video from all the cameras.

My Tesla was rear-ended and I was able to read the license plate off the video.

The camera wouldn't catch more than the witness but it would be an unimpeachable witness, no he said/she said.

My 4 day old r1t was hit today in the parking lot at work. The incident camera didn't catch the incident, but did record the kid who hit me cleaning up the glass from his smashed headlight, trying to buff out the gouges. I work overnight and it happened near midnight, he was recorded again in the morning with his Mom doing the same thing. Trying to buff it out. No note. But I have his image. I wish the truck had captured the actual collision. I can't imagine why it wouldn't.
