Gear Guard not turning off at Home

I need a sanity check. I continue to see phantom drain higher than it should be and it appears to be a bug in Gear Guard setup? From everything I see, my settings have Gear Guard off at home - I have verified the "Always On" vs "Off at Home" setting by toggling it several times. Home is being detected because I get the garage door pop up. But I have motion cam recordings taking place regardless. On occasion I have seen Gary on the screen when I walk up from the rear of the car and PAAK is slow to respond... Am I missing something?

I'm in a similar situation only with BT and WiFi vs Gear Guard.
I can turn BT and WiFi off, go back out the the truck an hour or two later... and both are magically back on again. I'm sure this has something to do with my vampire drain in Shipping Mode going from 0.5kWh/day to 1.7kWh/day after a recent update. Rivian is supposedly looking in to it via telemetry... but it's been over a week since they reached out to me with any information.

Recommend completing a soft reset of the vehicle. I’ve had to do this a couple of times with my vehicle. If that doesn’t work, then you may want to contact Rivian service.

Ever since the last update (you know the one that softened the suspension and made it feel like you’re driving a porpoise), my R1S GPS would frequently display me 50-100 feet from my actual location.
This resulted in all the “off at home” features not actually turning off at home.
My workaround was every 2 days having to go in and reprogram “home” to whatever location the Rivian GPS thought it was in.
Total PITA, but worked.
