Gen 1 Vehicle Inspection (Pucks)

I need to have my GEN 1 R1S inspected. The last time I had this done, they did not lift the vehicle however, they’re now stating the vehicle needs to be lifted. The shop states they have pucks.

Are pucks standard across GEN 1&2 vehicles?
