Gen 2 R1S Lease Takeover Question

Hey everyone! I was curious to learn if Rivian Financial (Chase) allows Rivian lease holders to transfer their current lease over to someone else that wants to acquire the lease? The reason I ask is that we just turned in our Gen 1 R1S Quad and are now in the market for a Gen 2 R1S. Instead of going to Rivian to get another, I wanted to see if this was possible as I would be open to assuming someone else's Gen 2 R1S lease. This would save me the costs involved with getting into another lease through Rivian and help someone out who is looking to get out of their lease. Not sure if this was the correct forum to post in but thought I would give it a try! Thanks for the feedback.

Hey! Funny, I spent the day looking into this - but in the other side of the spectrum!

I have a 2026 R1S Gen 2 w/ 3,772 miles on a 24 mo lease. I just don’t use it much at all, and was looking to find someone to take it over.

keep us posted on if you were able to work this out. Typically Chase is pretty firm on their policy but would be interested to see if anything has changed.

So we did find out that lease transfers are not an option with RFS. Being so, we ended up ordering a new R1S Gen 2 Dual Perf over the holiday weekend. With the incentives and discounts being offered, we were able to secure a new lease on a Performance Dual at less of a cost for a Dual Standard. So it was a no brainer for us. I appreciate everyone's response and willingness to help.
