Gen 2 Vampire Drain?

I read in at one of the various reviews following the release of the Gen 2 last week that the vampire drain issue has been solved. Can anyone confirm? What % battery loss are folks seeing per week?

My experience with Ford has been that battery loss is ≤ 1% sitting 1–2 weeks. Hope Gen 2 gets us there...

I heard they have a new dedicated micro processor managing the 12V charging so that it doens't need to wake up as much of the vehicle just to charge the 12V battery. According to someone at Rivian, the gen2 is likely class leading in vampire drain.

'Lowest Vampire Drain in the Industry' sounds promising indeed, but we shall see!

No matter what, it shouldn't be too far off base

For reference, my 2023 Tesla Model X loses about 1-3% per day.

Great question for Zoltar. Please deposit $1. No official data given. None delivered to customers yet. Any examples you see are manufacturer preproduction units for testing and press events. Gen1 is at about 1% per day. Gen2 having fewer CPUs and more efficient architecture, probably better than that.

What makes you think it was a second generation?

It had the new front light bar. 22" wheels and silver calipers so assumed it was DM max pack but could have been a standard range w/ upgraded wheels. May very well have been a test vehicle/employee car.
