Gen2 fob rattle normal?

I recently received the key fob for our Gen2 truck, and I’m noticing some differences compared to the Gen1 fob(s). Beyond the harder plastic and thinner rubber coating, the Gen2 unit produces a noticeable amount of rattling. Is this typical for the Gen2 model?
