Hi Folks,

I’ve seen quite a bit of discussion on here about audio. I was hoping it wouldn’t be a big deal, but, I’m feeling a little bummed about it given how good my substantially less expensive model Y audio is with no modification. I have done an infotainment reset but it doesn’t seem to have changed much.

Any ideas for improving the Gen2 “Rivian”
Audio? I’m concerned it’s just going to sound muddled forever on what is otherwise an awesome truck thus far. Is there any hope? Just feels like not terribly expensive for the audio to sound generally good or great in a vehicle like this. ?

I have a Gen 1 meridian system so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I can say with relative confidence it will not be muddled forever. It’s pretty amazing how flexible these systems are and Wassym has already commented on planned improvements for gen 2 audio through updates.

Software updates have completely changed the sound profile a couple of times already, which can be frustrating after you finally get it to sound like you wanted, but it’s still welcome IMO.

I would be shocked if after a couple audio updates and you tweaking the EQ to your liking you can’t find settings that make you happy.

Agreed, my 2023 Meridian system is far better today that it was on delivery. Especially without the wife in the vehicle telling me to "turn it down"
