This is my iX I sold for my R1T. Wish I could have kept them both :(. iX is a far superior vehicle in terms of luxury and handling. R1T is just so much cooler and fits my lifestyle better.

iX efficiency was amazing too. In the summer I was easily getting above 3mpk consistently.

Congrats on your new awesome vehicle

I can't get past the styling of the front of the IX - its hideous. BMW has completely lost its way from a design standpoint.
I think it's incorporating elements of the Neue Klasse design language they are moving towards, which I actually like very much.

Just wanted to drop a quick note thanking everyone for making Rivian Forums a great place to go for all things Rivian. It has been indispensable to me during my brief R1S ownership.

Today, I bid farewell to my R1S and moved into a 2024 BMW iX. This is only goodbye for now, as I look forward to taking delivery of an R2 when they become available. I will definitely keep lurking and following this forum.

In the meantime, all the best to everyone. Enjoy your Rivians in good health!
My son has had 3 BMW's. I tease him because they are always breaking. I tell him "you know aht BMW stands for?"........."Break Most Weeks"
