Great Discount Tire Experience

I feel like I’ve seen the spectrum of opinions on DT from disastrous to delightful. While I’ve never had a bad experience with them and usually at least get good to very good, I’ve gotta give credit where credit is due and report on a great appointment.

At 53k ordered my second set of OEM replacements from DT online and scheduled install at Asheville Airport Rd location. Got multiple text notifications and emails about readiness for the visit including ability to let them know I was on my way.

When I arrived at my appointment's time I parked in the back row and as I exited the vehicle noticed a DT associate approaching. He was coming to greet me and tell me about what to expect. I asked him some questions about wear and warranty that he courteously answered. He took the vehicle straight in to start the work.

I watched from the waiting room at what looked like a well oiled machine replaced all four tires and had me out the door in 20 minutes. I even saw them check the jack point covers for closure which they’d missed in the past.

The gentleman that originally greeted me informed me of a very fair or even generous warranty credit as they handed the truck back over to me and I was on my way.

I don’t know if this is SOP for all DT now, this one is just very well managed or maybe there was a corporate team in there for some reason. Everything just seemed well run and polished.

Happy to have at least that DT work on my truck any time.

The Discount Tire in New Bern has also been awesome! They paid attention to everything - even had the jack pucks out and ready when I arrived. Well run and polished is accurate statement.

Have had two free tire rotations at DT North Chesterfield VA. Excellent service. The team looks like an F1 pit crew. Beautiful coordination and technique. Doesn't get any better.
