Hahaha. It was the average speed that gave it away.Damn, that was pretty quick.
Correct. Went from 101 miles of range to 119 miles.
Nope, R1T only. And you were towing, right!?!?
I got nearly 175 miles out of a single charge on a Chevy Volt one time 10+ years ago, because I started at around 8,000 feet. Numbers are just silly unless you can complete the round trip.Wouldn't they have to be round trips to be of any value? Otherwise you can go downhill for many miles and get a ridiculously high mi/kWh reading.
LMAOTop of Mt. Evans?
It's been about a year or so since I've done Argentine Pass, but I was thinking about taking the R1T on its first adventure up it. If you're looking to do it with another R1T and risk that rock (I know exactly where you're referring to), I'd be up for it!LMAO
Last week I drove my Jeep to the top of Argentine Mountain (Argentine Pass near Georgetown). The trip from Erie to there put my milage at 16.9mpg. But coming down from the mountain, then through I70 to Golden brought it back all the way to 20mpg.
But I’m not sure I’ll take the Rivian to the top of the mountain. There is a rather large rock you have to get over as you make the final assent.
Im going up there soon but I won’t be making that last turn up to the mountain peakz I may just stop at the mine to get another moose picture. It's been about a year or so since I've done Argentine Pass, but I was thinking about taking the R1T on its first adventure up it. So I’ve noticed this as well coming down from RMNP. Why does the 15 min average top out at 4mi/kWh … seems like a bug in the display though I wonder if it propagates to the trip calculation too. Here’s one….top of Cottonwood Pass down to near Almont.

I don't think it's a bug, they just had to cut it off somewhere and anything north of 4 is both rare and not useful. The trip simply takes total miles driven divided by total energy used, so no effect whatsoever there. So I’ve noticed this as well coming down from RMNP.
